Description Colin Macdonald 2004-05-30 17:25:45 UTC
The ebuilds for Neverwinter Nights (nwn and nwnded) report the license as LGPL-2.1. I very much doubt that this is the case.

Someone please confirm that they are propreitary software and change the license in the ebuild.

Since I do not have a copy of the game, could you provide me with the license information?
Comment 2 Colin Macdonald 2004-05-31 16:59:46 UTC
Sorry, I also do not have a copy. Maybe you can find it on their website?

Can't you just say "proprietary"?
Comment 3 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-06-01 04:31:59 UTC
Every license we use has to have a corresponding license file in ${PORTDIR}/licenses, otherwise the emerge will fail. More than likely, whomever wrote the ebuild was unable to find the license and just substituted something else in its stead.

Fixed in CVS... emerge sync and you'll see the changes...
