the current synaptics ebuild puts the synclient/syndaemon man pages in /usr/local instead of /usr like every other package

Ugh. You're right. The Makefile has /usr/local/man1 as the MANDIR. I'll add a simple sed to fix it.

I've added an updated ebuild to portage. The version has remained the same, so sync up (in like 30 minutes or so) and remerge, it should be fixed.

There's a regression wrt. this. See bug #103110. 
Now man pages are in /usr/man - however, nowadays, they need to be 
in /usr/share/man.
