sys-power/acpi_call-1.1.0 was built with the following:

The same happens with linux-3.17.0-gentoo:

patch for changing the included file path

This patch resolves the compilation issue for me. I have not tested if the modules itself has any problems after applying it.
Comment 3 Andreas Simbürger 2014-10-28 01:09:40 UTC
The patch works fine with 3.17.1-gentoo-r1. Battery levels are reported correctly in TLP 0.6 on a ThinkPad x230.
Comment 4 Christoph Junghans (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2014-10-28 03:59:20 UTC
Reported upstream.
Comment 5 Rafal Lalik 2014-11-07 19:45:29 UTC
I am proposing a patch which is checking for kernel version, if lover that 3.17 then do nothing, since it was working before correctly.

Patch to fix ebuild to check for kernel version and update include path
Comment 7 Michal Privoznik 2014-11-16 10:35:14 UTC
I've tried to e-mail the patch to the upstream maintainer, but haven't recieved any response. Le sigh.
Comment 8 Markus Hauschild 2014-12-10 07:40:28 UTC
This Problem still exists with =sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-3.18.0
Reading the previous comments I'd probably want to apply the patch locally since waiting the upstream seems pointless.
