Description Ryan Kelly 2004-05-30 01:04:32 UTC
Attempting to update world gives the following error:

------
pineapple root # emerge -upD world

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating world dependencies /
emerge: there are no masked or unmasked ebuilds to satisfy "=net-mail/evolution-1.4*".

!!! Problem with ebuild app-pda/multisync-0.81-r1
!!! Possibly a DEPEND/*DEPEND problem.

!!! Depgraph creation failed.
------

A quick check reveals that multisync depends on "=net-mail/evolution-1.4*" when the "evo" use flag is set. Changing this to the (apparently new) "=mail-client/evolution-1.4*" fixes the problem.

Reproducible: Always

Did you also remove the references to net-mail/evolution in the following files:

/usr/portage/mail-client/evolution/evolution-1.4.5.ebuild
/usr/portage/mail-client/evolution/evolution-1.4.6.ebuild
/usr/portage/mail-client/ximian-connector/ximian-connector-1.4.5.0.6.1.ebuild
/usr/portage/mail-client/ximian-connector/ximian-connector-1.2.2_p1.ebuild
/usr/portage/mail-client/ximian-connector/ximian-connector-1.4.6.0.6.1.ebuild
