Created attachment 385492 [details] log file with classless_static_routes Hello, I have dhcp server on Debian( isc-dhcp-server 4.2.2.dfsg.1-5+deb70u6) , with this configuration: ... option ms-classless-static-routes code 249 = array of unsigned integer 8; option rfc3442-classless-static-routes code 121 = array of unsigned integer 8; authoritative; shared-network localnet { subnet 192.168.3.0 netmask 255.255.255.0{ option rfc3442-classless-static-routes 24, 192,168,20, 192,168,3,203; option ms-classless-static-routes 24, 192,168,20, 192,168,3,203; option routers 192.168.3.254; host gentoo { hardware ethernet 00:1d:60:33:fd:38; fixed-address 192.168.3.127; } } } When I run the dhcpcd on gentoo, I get only static routes, without gateway. If I comment option classless_static_routes in dhcpcd.conf, I get default gateway, without static routes.

You need to put a default route into your classless static routes. From the relevant RFC DHCP clients that support this option and send a parameter request list MAY also request the Static Routes option, for compatibility with older servers that don't support Classless Static Routes. The Classless Static Routes option code MUST appear in the parameter request list prior to both the Router option code and the Static Routes option code, if present. If the DHCP server returns both a Classless Static Routes option and a Router option, the DHCP client MUST ignore the Router option. Similarly, if the DHCP server returns both a Classless Static Routes option and a Static Routes option, the DHCP client MUST ignore the Static Routes option. So not a bug with dhcpcd.
