Description SyKnight 2002-07-19 05:57:56 UTC
When emerging evolution, I get the following error. Please take notice to the
very odd pathname that libtool is using
(.var/tmp/portage/libglade-0.17-r6/image//usr/lib/libglade.la). Double path
glued together. See topic for version numbers. I'm using portage 2.0.13,
rsync'd as of this morning (july 18th)

Reassigning this to you stroke, since I out of personal hatred and rabid mania
dont want anything to do with evolution.

first guesses: check deps on libglade so its installed correctly. (<=libglade
1.0 or so)
Comment 2 Gabriele Giorgetti 2002-07-28 14:20:20 UTC
libglade-2.0.0 has nothing to do with the current version of evolution.
libglade-0.17 is needed instead.

please emerge it again:
emerge /usr/portage/gnome-base/libglade/libglade-0.17-r6.ebuild
Then try to remerge evolution

But it looks like a libtool issue.

If it's still a problem, let me know.
