Description Andreas Kotowicz 2002-07-19 05:17:01 UTC
just did an "emerge rsync --clean".
after that i did:
"emerge -u -p world" this gives me:

These are the packages that I would merge, in order.

Calculating world dependencies ...done!
[ebuild U ] app-admin/gentoolkit-0.1.15 to /
[ebuild U ] net-misc/openssh-3.4_p1-r3 to /
[ebuild U ] sys-devel/gcc-3.1-r7 to /
[ebuild U ] sys-apps/baselayout-1.7.9-r1 to /

BUT: I've installed just 3 hours before new versions of those packages. somehow
the emerge rsync installed old ebuilds. this shouldn't happen!

there was an error in the package.mask file for a few minutes. you were
unfortunate enough to get the bad mask, that's why this happened.
