I have installed my EPIA C3-2 system gentoo that far that now I have the following choices, utilise linuxtv-dvb or kernel drivers, I would like to go for the kernel drivers, but can this be done easily? The problem I run into is a complaint about "#error VDR requires Linux DVB driver API version 3!" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge vdr Actual Results: # emerge vdr Calculating dependencies ...done! >>> emerge (1 of 1) media-video/vdr-1.1.27 to / >>> md5 src_uri ;-) vdr-1.1.27.tar.bz2 >>> Unpacking source... >>> Unpacking vdr-1.1.27.tar.bz2 to /var/tmp/portage/vdr-1.1.27/work * Applying vdr-1.1.27-gentoo.diff... do you also experiencing those problems with the 1.2.6 version? i think 1.1.27 should be removed from the tree, it's a deprecated one.
