Version 1.4.0 was released July 3. Copy-and-paste of taskcoach-1.3.40.ebuild appears to work.

Strange. 

For me, simply copying the ebuild of 1.3.40 to be 1.4.2 did not work - portage did not successfully download the tar.gz file from sourceforge. The file downloaded is of type "html" not gzip!

So I stepped through the versions available. Trying the same as 1.3.41 and 1.4.0 worked successfully.

1.4.1 did not work - same error as with version 1.4.2.


I can only assume that taskcoach project changed the way they host on sourceforge, but that doesn't make any sense - they are on the sourceforge website in the same way as all other versions: http://sourceforge.net/projects/taskcoach/files/taskcoach/

The ebuilds I used to do this testing are on my public github repository: https://github.com/mattig7/MattsPackages/tree/master/app-office/taskcoach

Nothing much to see - I just copied and renamed the 1.3.40 file in all instances...

My manifest file hadn't generated correctly - taskcoach 1.4.2 (and 1.4.1) downloaded and built correctly after a simple copy and paste name change from version 1.3.40.

If you don't want to copy and rename yourself, you could just download my ebuild from github:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mattig7/MattsPackages/master/app-office/taskcoach/taskcoach-1.4.2.ebuild
