Description Marcin Kryczek 2014-08-30 15:04:05 UTC
after upgrading kmail to 4.14.0 i have a problems with some (not all) html messages, which are displayed like plaintext (so i see all html markups).

As i've wrote: not all html messages are broken (in fact most of them are displayed correctly). I have "Show HTML status bar" option turned on, so i see that kmail recognize correctly html messages, but still displays them as plaintext.

Sometimes (but not always) it helps when i go to Settings->Configure kmail->Message Window, change some option there (no matter which one) and click "apply". I may then change this option to original state, click "apply" once again and html message is still displayed correctly.

my emerge --info:

i've just noticed it's intended for security reasons;) sorry for bothering you
Comment 3 Franz Trischberger 2014-08-30 15:11:43 UTC
IMHO that happens if the mail only contains an HTML part. If you prefer text/plain over HTML and the plain part is missing you get presented that screen.
