Currently the sdk requires nvidia-drivers-334.16-r7[uvm], the toolkit nvidia-drivers-340.24[uvm]. As the sdk depends on the toolkit, the minimal installed version is 340.24. Unfortunately, this is not sufficient. Also the sdk example deviceQuery tells that version 340.24 is a CUDA 6.5 compatible driver, within the toolkit package provided by NVIDIA version 340.29 is included. With 340.24 CUDA application can be executed, but profiling with nvprof fails. So we should bump the dependency to 340.32, which is the latest stable driver in the portage tree. Additionally I suggest to drop the driver dependency in the sdk package, a suitable driver gets installed anyway (required by the toolkit). Reproducible: Always
