Building app-accessibility/espeak 1.47.11-r1 fails with the following error:

I get the same problem with 1.48.04 (~amd64).

Looking at the command preceding the error, you've got trash in your make.conf.

Found it. Apparently the espeak makefile has a 'USE_AUDIO' variable, and my make.conf contains various variables I just to separate USE flags in various categories.

This kind of mixup is really annoying, isn't there a way to make sure that the make.conf environment does not contaminate the shell namespace when running Makefiles ?
