Description Alessandro Pisani 2004-05-25 06:55:16 UTC
samba-vscan support in samba 3.0.2a ebuild is broken (using clamav with samba-3.0.2a-r1/-r2) lead to run-time errors in log.smbd (i.e.: /usr/sbin/smbd: relocation error: /usr/lib/samba/vfs/vscan-clamav.so: undefined symbol: filetype_init).
Here it is a patch created with the help of Rainer Link (samba-vscan's maintainer) for the samba-3.0.2a-r2 ebuild which addresses the problem.
The same patch had also been submitted to the proposed ebuild for samba-3.0.4 (see bug #48871)

Alessandro
