Hi, I installed stronswan today, ang everytime I start strongswan, I get this error message: [...] ipsec_setup: FATAL: Module ipsec_aes not found. Well, ipsec works. Should instead the module aes be loaded from the kernel cryptoapi? Well, the second thin is: I did a grep -r ipsec_aes /etc , and found out that it is in /etc/apache2/modules/lib/ipsec/_realsetup I wonder what stongswan has to do with apache. when i install strongswan, i get no such directory under apache2... sounds like a different issue not related to strongswan. 'qpkg -l strongswan' shows no evidence of 2.02 installing anything in /etc/apache2 might want to try a 'qpkg -f /etc/apache2/modules/lib/ipsec/_realsetup' as strongswan installs nothing there. that should identify the package or the lack of a package "owning" that file. I'll research the aes issue and see what is best to handle this. Jay
This will be fixed in the next release. You should use the aes cipher from the crypto api in the kernel. I'll look to add a patch to remove the unneeded modprobe/rmmod from _realsetup A bit of info is here: http://lists.strongswan.org/pipermail/users/2004-April/000074.html Jay
Well, this was fixed long ago and further updates. Closing.
