This ebuild doesn't make /usr/share/bash-completion/helpers/perl executable (required for /usr/share/bash-completion/perl). You can test this using: $ perldoc Get<Tab>

This doesn't seem to cause any problems with the current versions of bash-completion. The helper is not executable but it's called via perl, so that shouldn't be a problem.
