Upstream is at 1.8.6 now - renaming the ebuild works fine.

Fixes:

  * Handle spaces in filenames with external editor (Kai Willadsen)
  * Fix storing translated column names in configuration (Kai Willadsen)
  * Backport fix for "Open externally" sensitivity setting (Daniel Macks)
  * Fix support for fake comparisons in null VC (Kai Willadsen)
  * Fix "Same" filter for shallow comparison cases (Kai Willadsen)

PS: there is also a 3.11.x development version that is for the GTK+3 port which is quite stable. I'd be happy to help proxy maintain an ebuild if folks think it's ok to have it in the portage tree (probably masked).

bumped, regarding 3.11.x, it's still a development version, won't be likely added to the tree at that stage then :/
