Astropy has been released roughly 3 weeks ago, and (surprisingly, given the switch to astropy-helpers) it builds fine with just a renaming of the ebuild to astropy-0.4.ebuild . The ebuild can add compatability for python3.4 as well. On python3.3, python3.4, and python2.7, the only tests with issues are two test failures in the modeling code that all versions of python failed with. Given that the modeling code is being heavily rewriten and one of those test failures appears to be a rounding issue, I don't think these should block inclusion in the main tree. Reproducible: Always
