waproamd breaks the sandbox. It seems to be ignoring the install prefix for some parts of the install, notably the init script. Thus, it fails to install. sandbox log: open_wr: /etc/init.d/waproamd Portage 2.0.50-r6 (default-x86-1.4, gcc-3.2.3, glibc-2.3.2-r3, 2.6.6) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.6 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1000MHz Gentoo Base System version 1.4.3.10 Autoconf: sys-devel/autoconf-2.59 Automake: sys-devel/automake-1.8.2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86 ~x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-O3 -march=pentium3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" COMPILER="gcc3" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.1 /share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm /config/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /us r/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O3 -march=pentium3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs ccache sandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://128.213.5.34/gentoo/ http://mirror.clarkson.edu/pub/distr ibutions/gentoo/ http://gentoo.seren.com/gentoo" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="X aalib acpi alsa apm arts avi berkdb cdr cjk crypt cscope cups doc dvd ema cs encode esd ethereal foomaticdb gdbm ggi gif gnome gphoto2 gpm gps gtk gtk2 gt khtml guile imap imlib java joystick jpeg ldap leim libg++ libwww mad maildir ma troska mbox mikmod mmx motif mozilla mozsvg mpeg mysql ncurses nls nocd oggvorbi s opengl oss pam pcmcia pda pdflib perl png pnp python qt quicktime readline rub y samba scanner sdl slang slp snmp spell sse ssl svga tcltk tcpd tetex threads t ruetype unicode usb videos wavelan x86 xml2 xmms xv zlib"
I can't replicate this. Can you tell me if this still occurs, and if so, what version of the ebuild you are merging. Thanks.
I can not reproduce this either. Reporter; could you please provide the exact error message?
Unable to replicate... Closing this for NEEDINFO since 3 devs can't duplicate the problem and we need the reporter to provide us with some more info and it's been 4 months.
Closing due to lack of feedback.
