Description Sebastian Korten 2002-07-18 03:42:59 UTC
Hello...
I'd like to add my first ebuild to gentoo...
xsadp is a very nice ncurses/xforms based CD-Player
(and since I found no cdplayer for X in gentoo, I took the chance...)
I'm not sure that the script is perfect (I doubt it!), but it works :o)

I suggest media-sound/xsadp.

The ebuild depends only on ncurses - the xforms part is optional

I hope it's cool...
Sebastian

since xforms is a ppc/x86 thing, I give this to you -- I will create
virtual/xforms in a few minutes, which should make things easier

Sorry, hadn't gotten around to this, I'm remotely doing dev work so can't
build atm, but will add this to my list when I get home.

I'd rather not commit this. The build process is horrible and while i could create patches to clean things up and do something sensible, i don't want to create a maintenance nightmare for myself.

There are now many X enabled cdplayers in gentoo and this one is no longer maintained. If you absolutely must have this one, re-open the bug and we'll revist this :-)
