When accessing https://gentoo.org/ I get a 301-redirect to unencrypted http://www.gentoo.org.

This is probably an effect of first forwarding all traffic to gentoo.org (without www) to www. However, if someone wants to connect via https, it shouldn't forward to http without a reason.
