Description Joerg Maier 2002-07-18 03:00:27 UTC
hello
Installation until bootstrap works fine. During Bootstrap keyboard is not
working anymore and a black screen is shown.
Still i hear my computer working and still i can ping that machine from
others in the net.

I use stage 1 installation and pii only make options. to me it seem that
this happens after build glibc. got a pii 300 64mb ram and a german
keyboard.
even i tried to USE -3dnow in my /etc/make.conf, because no 3dnow commands
seem to be available in pentium 2? didnt help.

thanks a lot for help.
joerg

Only the idea:

try to switch off ALL apm in bios.

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
