Hopefully this is a simple backport, since glibc-2.19-r1 works fine (but produces binaries with dependencies too new for my target).

More information: target armv7a-hardfloat-linux-gnueabi works, only with GCC 4.6 (4.7 and 4.8 break on this glibc)

sorry, no plans to support plain arm-* in really old glibcs like that.  if you want hardfloat, then it's reasonable imo for you to select a specific cpu aka armv7a-*.
