Description Marshall Banana 2014-07-26 16:27:43 UTC
Hey there,

i've got this wierd bug with vpnc... generally it works flawlessly, but when in a cafe on a public wifi (where you have to login using provided credentials over a webform, which you get shown if you try to open a url in your browser), i get the following error:
vpnc: expected xauth packet; rejected: (ISAKMP_N_UNEQUAL_PAYLOAD_LENGTHS)(30)

running the following command gives me the output further below
sudo vpnc --debug 2 --no-detach /etc/vpnc/vpnc.conf

vpnc version 0.5.3

Please ask at http://lists.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/pipermail/vpnc-devel list. Ideally try latest vpnc dev snapshot (I thought we have -9999.ebuild for it but seems not).
