I'm running live-kde:4 and the previous kactivites:4-live (4.13.49.9999) I was running was removed. Shouldn't there be /some/ sort of live kactivities:4 version? Tho whether it'd be 4.9999 or 4.11.49.9999 or 4.14.49.9999 I'm not sure. 4.13.3 is of course in-tree, but it's not live, and I'm not sure running it with live kde-4.9999, of course with 4.11.49.9999 versions of workspace packages, is ideal, unless they've actually stopped *ALL* development, including bugfixes, on kactivities:4, which seems unlikely. Thanks! =:^) (And looking forward to kde:5. I tried qt5/frameworks5/plasma5-rc and I think managed to get everything necessary installed including manually installing kded:5 when it wasn't a dep of anything, but kwin:5 was repeatedly segfaulting/respawning, I guess due to not liking my radeon turks (hd4670 IIRC) hardware and freedomware drivers. Given that I couldn't keep it installed along with a working kde:4, I unmerged it and remerged the unmerged kde:4 components for now. I think I'll at least wait until qt:5 and qt:4-4.8.6 are in-tree with qtchooser working a bit better before I try again, as that many layers of pre-tree-overlay-ware is a bit much! Patience... But the experience did give me a new appreciation for what you guys working on kde:5 are up against ATM!)
Master is KF5 based, and 4.13 has no further releases thus 4.13.49.9999 has been removed for all packages. There's also neither a 4.14 branch nor 4.14 beta release. Sorry, upstream versioning is getting a bit funky lately!
Thanks. At least I know that now, and it's in the bug database for anyone else happening to have the same question, too. =:^) I feel a bit better about "downgrading" to kde-base/kactivities-4.13.3, now. Duncan
