Description Tim Bates 2004-05-22 01:17:39 UTC
As in bug 14164, mod-ruby-1.0.7's ebuild has an incorrect description.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
emerge -s mod-ruby
Actual Results:
It says "An Apache2 DSO providing an embedded Tcl interpreter"

Expected Results:
It should say "An Apache2 DSO providing an embedded Ruby interpreter"

This was mentioned in bug 14164, which also suggested renaming mod-ruby to
mod_ruby. Bug 14164 was RESOLVED WONTFIX because of the renaming issue, but the
description issue was not fixed.

Fixed. Thanks for the bug report. btw, as in bug #14164, Tom said
underscores are not allowed in Gentoo Policy but the document
says "The first section, pkg, is the package name, which should only
contain lowercase letters, the digits 0-9, and any number of single
hyphen (-) or underscore (_) characters." So I think it's okay to rename
it to mod_ruby. I don't think we should move the package to net-www
because other major embedded interpreters (mod_perl, mod_php and
mod_python) aren't in net-www (although mod_lisp and mod_tcl are
in net-www).
