Does this sound like flaky hardware? Marked as blocker, as I can't do much with this error ;)

Attempting to rebuild, it may go away.

Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
emerge gentoo-dev-sources
Actual Results:
SIGSEGV

Expected Results:
built the kernel

Hm; can you try running it under gdb and then issuing a backtrace? Thanks...

Also; what kernel are you trying to compile and getting this error on?

Hey again Plasma!

don't i feel silly for messing up again. After about 12 hours of diagnostics, it turns out to be flaky hardware.

Marking this as invalid, notabug.

sorry for database spam ;-(
