Please update to the newest version: mayavi-4.3.1 https://pypi.python.org/pypi/mayavi Reproducible: Always

The new version has been out since a sufficiently long time (30 Jan 2014).
(In reply to Bernardo Costa from comment #1) > I've installed from a local ebuild, changing .0 to .1 in the name, and it > did install Sorry for the hurry. It installed but produced a lot of errors since I am using vtk-6.0, and the program "mayavi2" looks unusable. Using the demo script from http://docs.enthought.com/mayavi/mayavi/mlab.html results in a segmentation fault. > The new version has been out since a sufficiently long time (30 Jan 2014). Sufficiently long that they are planning support for >vtk-6.1 (and even 6.1 is not yet on portage) alongside with 5.10.1, as per https://github.com/enthought/mayavi/pull/114#issuecomment-40736234.
Created attachment 393070 [details] Testing ebuild The current release version of mayavi2 (4.3.1) does not support VTK 6.x. The master branch in git has since April 2014: https://github.com/enthought/mayavi/pull/114#issuecomment-40736234 No word from upstream on when 4.3.2 will be ready. For now, here is a testing ebuild that uses the master branch, which worked at 16:13 03.01.2015.
Please find mayavi-4.5.0 in tree.
