Description Coacher 2014-07-04 12:27:34 UTC
<net-libs/farstream-0.2.3 is masked in package.mask, but net-libs/farstream:0.1 is required by stable =net-im/gajim-0.15.4

Please unbreak stable by adjusting masks or bumping gajim dependency.

Reproducible: Always

No it isn't. If you think there is an actual bug, then please reopen this bug report after you have provided the usual information (emerge --info) and information specific to the problem (e.g. emerge -vpq <package>).

"No" which part?

OK, here you go:

$ cat /var/portage/profiles/package.mask | grep farstream
<net-libs/farstream-0.2.3

$ equery d farstream
 * These packages depend on farstream:
net-im/gajim-0.15.4 (jingle ? net-libs/farstream:0.1[python])

$ emerge -p1v farstream

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

I don't have this:
/var/portage/profiles/package.mask

but in CVS (cvs/gentoo-x86/profiles/package.mask) there is no such mask.

CVS Revision 1.15830 says:

revision 1.15830
date: 2014-07-04 13:33:40 +0200;  author: pacho;  state: Exp;  lines: +1 -174;  commitid: 686c53b691124567;
Remove bogus mask

when 1.15829 had just added that.

After resync the problem is gone. Thanks for your attention on this matter.
