Version 3.5.0 has been available since November 2013, but Portage only shows 3.3.1-r1. I have fooled around with the source a little, but there are too many things I don't know how to fix to make the build work. (Hey, this is why I'm using Gentoo!) The old version (3.3.1) emerges just fine, but it doesn't support Python 3, and the new version (3.5.0) does.
I take a look at it, see `layman -a xmw` for progress. I just want >python3.3 module ipaddress for project [0]. Maybe I take maintership for this package. [0] https://github.com/xmw/hsh-link
