While attempting to emerge openoffice-ximian-1.1.55, portage downloaded the following file from gentoo.oregonstate.edu:

OOo_1.1.1p1_source.tar.bz2

The digests did not match, so I deleted the file and tried to re-emerge.  Same results.  I manually downloaded file from gatech.edu mirror, and now package is compiling happily!  Suspect corrupt file on oregenstate server.

That is definately no issue anymore, as OOo is  already gone from the tree
