Description Steev Klimaszewski (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2014-06-29 23:14:45 UTC
This bug is to track which boards do not work with cpupower. Kernel version and where the kernel is from are very important to note.

Board: Utilite Pro
Kernel: 3.0.35
Repo: gitorious.org/utilite/utilite
Output:
utilite ~ # cpupower frequency-info
analyzing CPU 0:
  driver: imx
CPUs which run at the same hardware frequency: 0 1 2 3
CPUs which need to have their frequency coordinated by software: 0 1 2 3
  maximum transition latency: 61.0 us.
  hardware limits: 396 MHz - 996 MHz
available frequency steps: 996 MHz, 792 MHz, 396 MHz
available cpufreq governors: interactive, conservative, userspace, powersave, ondemand, performance
current policy: frequency should be within 396 MHz and 996 MHz.
The governor "ondemand" may decide which speed to use
                  within this range.
current CPU frequency is 396 MHz (asserted by call to hardware).
  cpufreq stats: 996 MHz:1.14%, 792 MHz:0.09%, 396 MHz:98.77% (2531)
utilite ~ # cpupower idle-info
Could not determine cpuidle driver

Analyzing CPU 0:
Number of idle states: -19

System's thread sibling scheduler setting: not supported
System does not support Intel's performance bias setting
