For quite a while mono as been freeze to version 0.28. Now that version 1.0 is out maybe it should be time to update mono to a newer version ?

Mono 1.0 beta is out yes. And it's in portage. But it's masked as unstable.

I don't know where you find Mono Beta 1 in Portage ???

mono-0.91 is beta1, and it's in portage since 5th May.

I've just added the beta2 stuff less than 24 hours after the beta2 announcement. I'm gonna mark this INVALID.
