Does it just compile, or does it work too?

Mico has always run fine on sparc, either solaris or linux. If you want to use it, though, notice that current release from mico.org is 2.3.11, released about seven months ago. I haven't tried it because I have no current need.

But I would not bother with 2.3.9, as it is old news at this point. If you want
to play with mico, I'd recommend 2.3.11 (the only problem I've ever seen was a problem with an early version of gcc-3.xxx or when using mico+python. (I'm (at least one of) the persons who told them that it worked with "Linux 2.x on Sun UltraSparc (gcc 2.95)".) I would expect 2.3.11 to work for you unless there are
problems with the ebuild itself).

I don't see much point verifying an out of date version. I can check out 2.3.11, but probably not instantly.

Respond to this error report, please, concerning your thoughts.

Regards,
Ferris

Added ~sparc keyword in cvs for mico-2.3.11. mico-2.3.11 is current since October, 2003, and it builds, installs, and runs its tests and demos for me.

If you really need 2.3.9, please submit another report explaining why.
