What should do? I mean, it has no keywords, is hardmasked with the big mask for this kind of packages... # Mass-masking of live ebuilds; we cannot guarantee working state of # live ebuilds, nor the availability of the server hosting them. As # per QA team policy, all these need to be kept masked by default, if # available in the tree. I don't think anybody will take care of this package and maybe could be treecleaned :/
Patrick, what the problem with current state of ebuild, that you have fixed? Live ebuild may(in explicit cases) not have exact -9999 version. Keywords are dropped now. Maybe changing version to -9999 ?
Any news about how to proceed?
This should either download a tarball for a released version, e.g. from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/netcomics/files/netcomics-tar-bz2/0.14.1/ Alternatively, a snapshot from CVS could be put on Gentoo mirrors. And the package should be renamed, dropping the -cvs. Or just treeclean it ...
Taking care there is no release since 2002 and is maintainer-needed, I would treeclean it then Thanks for the advise
