Description hitachi 2014-06-16 12:17:16 UTC
There still is a doc to find when opening http://www.gentoo.org/doc/de/kernel-upgrade.xml . It should be linked to https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Kernel/Upgrade/de . The doc is not correct anymore. The wiki seems to be the up-to-date doc.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open http://www.gentoo.org/doc/de/kernel-upgrade.xml
2. Open http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/kernel-upgrade.xml
3. See the diff.
Actual Results:
User finds an old doc which might cause wrong kernel upgrade procedure.

There seems to be the same problem with this doc in other languges as well.

@Tobias - if not done yet, just add a redirect to the translated articles in CVS to the right wiki article.

all the old xml stuff results in 404 errors, as the wiki is the place to go for updated translations.
