Description Jason Wever (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-05-17 20:56:23 UTC
nut (and in particular 1.4.1) fail to compile on machines that don't have USB support enabled in the kernel. Changing both the configure options and the sed hacks to depend on a useflag or environment variable would be preferable for users who want to use nut but do not have USB.

weeve: does 2.0* fail with this as well?

2.0.0 builds fine. Are there plans to make this the stable nut in the near future?

stable on x86 now, and you're free to mark it stable on sparc as well.
