ipython 0.6.0 has been released. Details here: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.python.ipython.devel/133/ Simply renaming ipython-0.5.0.ebuild to ipython-0.6.0.ebuild works, I have it in my overlay directory. However, there are some new/additional features relating to gnuplot.py and emacs integration. I'd like to see these features accessible. I don't know whether separate ipython-emacs and ipython-gnuplot ebuilds are called for, or if USE variables should be added to the base ipython ebuild. ipython-emacs-0.3.tgz (05-May-2004): support for using ipython in combination with (X)Emacs. I have removed s390 keyword because of dependency on gnuplot-py and added ~amd64. Architecture teams, test these packages please.
closing since its in portage now. ipython-emacs should definitely be in a seperate package.
