I still get: checking for NETWORK_MANAGER... yes checking for SYSTEMD... yes checking for xsltproc... /usr/bin/xsltproc checking for BASH_COMPLETION... no configure: error: Package requirements (bash-completion >= 2.0) were not met: Requested 'bash-completion >= 2.0' but version of bash-completion is 1.3 You may find new versions of bash-completion at http://bash-completion.alioth.debian.org/ Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix. Alternatively, you may set the environment variables BASH_COMPLETION_CFLAGS and BASH_COMPLETION_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details. !!! that's normal, because other gentoo developers forced me to remove 2.1-r1 from tree, so you got broken 2.1-r0 back, with bugs like bug 486306
Fixed in 1.0.11 at least.
