quoted from happypenguin.org:

Flexlay is a generic 2d game editor. It currently supports multilayered tile- and object maps, full undo/redo, support for tile-brushes, easy copy/paste, multiple buffers, minimap support, a metadata editor and some other stuff usefull for creating levels for 2d games.

Supported games are SuperTux, netPanzer and Windstille.

i'd like to see that in portage :]

Looks neat, I'll get right on it.
I'm being tripped up a bit by bug #44258, though.
I have to jump through hoops in order to work around the pkg-config bug.

Ive almost got a working ebuild.. Just need to create a diff to sort out install dir's to map to gentoo directory structure. Hope to post here for testing 17/2

I emailed the developer to find out if this was still being developed and I still havent heared from him.. It appears he has moved onto other projects and given this project is very alpha I think this should be removed as its going no where.

hmmmm. upstream says it's a moving target so marking this as LATER. We'll pick it up when it's more stable.
