The latest net-fs/nfs-utils-1.2.9-r3 has problem with kerberized NFS home directories. The full description of the problem could be found at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1056658
Adding "Environment=HOME=/" to the "Service" section of rpc-gssd.service could fix the problem for the time being. In case of openrc HOME=/ should be added to /etc/conf.d/nfs.
