Description michael 2002-07-16 19:34:04 UTC
I noticed that the system time on my linux boxes were having system time issues.

When I have the KDE Clock applet running in KDE 3.02, it will change the
timezone hap-harzardly effecting the current time.

If I the clock from the KDE Panel, it no longer seems to be an issue

Search for bugs like this on bugs.kde.org, or ask on one of the kde mailing
lists or on channel #kde on opn irc. Unless there are timezone issues with
other things as well, i.e. it is a eneral system timezone issue, I can't handle
it (sorry!). Also consider trying kde 3.1_alpha1 (masked and in portage) or the
current cvs (see www.gentoo.org/~danarmak/ked-cvs.html); even if you won't use
it beacuse it's unstable, check if the bug has been fixed there.
