There is a known bug in Chrome 35 which prevents internationalized characters like 'í' in Hungarian to be typed into anywhere (input forms, search bar, etc) According to upstream the fix will be landed in 36 and above. I know nobody will fix it in 35 so my request is to reintroduce version 34 in portage to be able to downgrade to it as a workaround until version 36 became stable. Thanks. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. upgrade to www-client/google-chrome-35.0.1916.114_p1 2. open any website with forms 3. try to type 'í' or something like that.
Sorry, but I can't do that. The deb files for google-chrome-34* no longer exist on Google's servers. If you already have copy of the necessary deb file, you can grab the ebuild from the CVS attic, and place it in a local overlay. http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/www-client/google-chrome/?hideattic=0

I could download the deb file from the Internet and the ebuilds from the archive, but as my profile got already upgraded I could not use it in v34 and I do not want to mess again to set everything up, so I will use Firefox until 36 became stable, then Chrome will have another chance. :) Thanks
