Description Flavio 2004-05-14 15:49:32 UTC
I get the files from a preinstalled version of nwn on other OS(M$) . First i download the linux base client (1.29) then I added the first expansion pack unzipping 4 files from the SOU cd-rom. After that, i downloaded the last patch 1.62 italian and it works perfectly.
Please add "~amd64" or "amd64" to the KEYWORDS for games-rpg/nwn 1.62

I leave this one assigned to games@, since i think no one of the amd64 porting team wants to buy nwn to test this ;-).

wolf31o2: do you have nwn, can you test this on your box and add ~amd64 in case it works ? TIA !-)
Comment 2 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-05-15 22:54:38 UTC
I don't have nwn... but I can allow access to test it
Comment 3 Danny van Dyk (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-05-17 11:18:18 UTC
AMD64 lead sais: go for it, so we go...
Marked ~amd64 now.
Comment 4 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-05-18 04:43:00 UTC
Would it not depend on app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-baselibs to run?
Comment 5 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-05-18 04:46:09 UTC
Added RDEPEND
Comment 6 Jacob Martin 2004-05-23 20:36:10 UTC
I have AMD64 with Nvidia Geforce 4200i. It isn't working for me. Pretty sure I set it up correctly. The libmss.so.6 file exists, the Seg faults are more serious probably... How to get more output??

Reopening and assigning to amd64.
Comment 8 Jason Huebel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-05-26 09:16:50 UTC
I'll retest this tomorrow. I have NWN, but it's probably a little bit dusty. :-)
Comment 9 Jacob Martin 2004-05-27 16:57:26 UTC
I just reinstalled and it works now. I must have done something wrong the first time. Sorry for the red herring.
Comment 10 Jason Huebel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-06-03 11:26:00 UTC
I confirm that it works and that the ebuild is already unmasked. Closing.
Comment 11 Mike Foster 2004-07-19 12:43:32 UTC
Ebuild still shows in packages.gentoo.org as ~amd64. Builds just fine, should be marked "stable" IMO. Emerged with "-nowin" to install without using my CDs and all is well.
