Hello.

After compiling percona-server 5.5.37 from mysql overlay i'm missing the libmysqlclient.so library. This leads to compile failure in php for example.

Hello.

Just saw that there is another client library:

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 28 May 13 12:56 /usr/lib64/libperconaserverclient.so -> libperconaserverclient.so.18

I suppose we need some symlinks then to make it compile with php?

Even more information.

They suggest creating symlinks.

Fix pushed to the overlay.

You may need to 'emerge @preserved-rebuild' if another variant was previously installed (mysql/mariadb)
