Subversion needs this point release to build. (it fixes something with compression)
I've got limited ebuild experience, but just copying the 21.1 ebuild to 21.3
seemed to have worked for me.

karl,

I couldn't think of who else to wrangle this to.  Subversion itself seems to be
an old snapshot, and there's the autoconf thing going on in there, which is
probably unnecessary now.  And, the licenses? gah! I have no idea.  There seems
to be about 5 of them.  Does this ebuild need an overhaul?

this is a seperate issue.
subversion's ebuild is horrbily out of date as well.
i'll try to get the apr/apr-util ebuild's going (which are needed for apache2)
and then I'll see if I can get svn building
