Description Sergey Popov gentoo-dev 2014-05-11 12:32:20 UTC
.... because they has not included in 'archalias' group on dev.gentoo.org

Listing those guys(in no particular order):
mattst88 (for MIPS arch team)
steev (for ARM arch team)
zerochaos (for ARM arch team)
jdhore (for x86 arch team)

Dear Infra members, please add them to 'archalias' group, thanks in advance

I wonder what the purpose of having arch aliases locked away is anyway.
If there are no compelling reasons, I'd prefer moving the aliases to be world-editable.

I think that is historical baggage. I'm in favor of opening it up as well, the data is public. If it becomes a problem (unlikely), it can be reverted

Arch aliases are now writable by all users.
