emerging dev-php/php and/or dev-php/mod_php with USE-Flag "xml" and without
"libwww" flag will fail if netlibs/libwww is not already installed as it
contains the required xmlparse libraries 

solution:

add >=net-libs/libwww-5.3.2 to xml dependency line
