Description Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2014-05-07 09:02:26 UTC
Our default 00_mod_status.conf for 2.4 has:
        Require host 127.0.0.1

But that got me 403s, the host directive does not seem to work with IP adresses

"Require ip 127.0.0.1" works, though after checking http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/en/mod/mod_authz_host.html, I switched my setup to "Require local" (works in ipv6 and other local adresses)

00_mod_info.conf has the same problem

Apart from that, the 2.4 upgrade on my server went mostly fine :)

Thanks for the report:

http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=proj/apache.git;a=commitdiff;h=fbdf004b77ec97b4df28e42d8038c07b87bd563f

This will be in the next gentoo-apache tarball rollout. Please keep this bug open until a fixed apache is in portage.
