smux is enabled by default for compatibility.
snmpd daemon binds 0.0.0.0:199 TCP.

man snmpd.conf(5) says that SMUX extension protocol has been officially deprecated in favour of AgentX. More info: http://www.net-snmp.org/docs/README.smux.html

Please add the following pattern to the examples in /etc/conf.d/snmpd

# Disable smux
#SNMPD_FLAGS="${SNMPD_FLAGS} -I -smux"
