Created attachment 385186 [details] linuxtv-dvb-firmware-2014.08.31.ebuild this is my best effort to make an updated and working ebuild, but there is just to many variables for me to understand all the stuff in there For updated get_dvb_firmware I used the one available at https://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/dvb/get_dvb_firmware and renamed it to get_dvb_firmware-2014.08.31
this firmwares are also provided via linux-firmware and the kernel, that are properly maintained/updated CCing treecleaners
